Light the Path Event – Season One was successfully held on 28th March 2026, as part of Women’s Month, to empower caregivers of children with disabilities through inclusive entrepreneurship. The program combined a three-day capacity-building training with a final event that featured a live cooking showcase, networking opportunities, and the distribution of essential business tools.
Participants gained practical skills in small business development, financial literacy, food safety, and marketing, while also connecting with partners, markets, and financial institutions. The initiative contributed to strengthening household income, promoting social inclusion, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for families affected by disability in Tanzania.
