Speaking Up, Standing Strong: The Epilepsy Rights Project

Speaking Up, Standing Strong: The Epilepsy Rights Project aims to strengthen the capacity of individuals with epilepsy and their caregivers to advocate for better access to medication, medical insurance, and inclusive social services. The project delivered  workshops on legal rights, self-advocacy, and effective communication, enabling participants to confidently engage with government officials, healthcare providers, and the media. It has also support the formation of peer networks and advocacy groups to amplify their voices. 

The participants has received training on physical and digital safety to ensure secure and effective advocacy.
